A vacancy has arisen within the Accounts Department for a Credit Controller. As a key member of the Credit Control, you will take full responsibility for chasing debt. You will collect on the book, resolve queries and contribute towards the smooth running of the department. Reporting to the Financial Controller your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Control of your own portfolio of accounts.

• Maintenance of the accounts within the agreed payment terms and credit limits.

• Escalate to Team Leader/Manager any internal or payment issues with customers

• Maintaining effective liaison with a range of internal staff and customers.

• Meeting of period targeted KPI’s using department procedures.

• Maintaining accurate notes and records

• Maintaining good customer relations whilst ensuring customer accounts are maintained within agreed credit terms.

• Other Ad Hoc duties as requested by Team Leader/Manager
  




• Person specification



• Business fluent in English and Mandarin

• To be able to prioritise workloads and work well under pressure.

• Work on their own initiative as well as working in a team.

• Proven experience in Credit Control/high volume calls

• Proactive approach to Credit Control

• Customer Centric – identifying and serving needs of external and internal customers

• Have a flexible attitude to adapt to change

• Minimum of 2 years credit control experience

• Knowledge of SAP, MS Excel and Word.

• Reliable, affable, and can communicate effectively with both internal and external customers and at all levels

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Flexible "Can do " attitude
  




• Advantageous skill:


• • Additional language skills of Korea and/or Japanese would be highly advantageous


• • Experience in Asian FMCG industry preferred



• 42.5 hours, 08:30- 18:00 Monday to Friday
