Our Client is a long-established, privately owned group who is a high-profile leader in the design, manufacture and supply of quality fastener and screw products to the wide range sector. they concentrate predominantly on (Standard/non standard) screws, SEMS, bolts, nuts, washer, self-taping screw , rivet nuts & studs and cold stamped special metal parts , etc. With a strong reputation for quality and exclusivity, they now mainly serve customers from Japan, US, East Europe and Nordic so EMA will be the primary focus to grow aggressively.
Job Role:
As a Regional BDM (Business Development Manager as an Independent Sales Rep) for the group’s full range of fastener and metal products, you’ll be actively selling into independent distributor, wholesaler, reseller, retailer and industrial clients within Europe. Reporting to the EMEA Sales VP, you will be calling on both new and existing customers, to increase sales and display presence within the retailer's premises. You'll also use your analytical and commercial skills to assess the potential of territory, market and prospective customers.
The role will be a field based position that will require you to work from home/office as well as travel to different regions of UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities:
Initiates and maintains relationships and opens lines of communication with prospective and established customers.
Secures and analyses RFQ opportunities, keeps track of effectiveness of quoting process and negotiates annual contracts..
Attends and represents company at industry conventions and marketing events as required.
Works independently with minimum supervision.
Other responsibilities assigned by the company.
Requirements:
Bachelor or associate degree in relative subjects, and relevant experience in the fastener and screw sales role will be a plus.
Working knowledge of fastener Industry /manufacturing / industrial background will be a plus.
Proven background of historic sales success with former employers will be a plus.
Competent in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Able to efficiently and professionally work from home/office and willing to travel.
Essential: A full valid driving license is essential for this role.
