A1 Education Limited is an international services group, who are engaged in the development and operations of international education programs. Our services include international preschool program, establishment of international curriculum centres within international secondary schools, vocational institutions and universities, guidance for higher level studying and other research as well as operations in international education.

Main areas of responsibility:

Talent Search & Management

·       Rrecruitment of staff (developing and posting job adverts, searching job boards, interviewing and screening candidates, arranging interviews with hiring managers, preparing job offers and employment contracts, checking references).

·       On-boarding new employees (welcoming and inducting new hires, monitoring their adaptation through the probationary period, arranging probationary period reviews with line managers, discussing any arising issues with probationers).

·       Managing staff training (analysing training needs and suggesting courses, maintaining training matrix, producing budgets, screening providers, booking courses, liaising with staff and line managers on the dates).

Admin Matters

·       Creating annual training plans, keeping records of the training courses undertaken by staff and claiming training grants

·       Maintaining personnel files and various HR-related records.

·       Producing various reports for senior management.

·       Covering for the Wages Administrator in their absence and processing timesheets.

·       Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are met (in co-operation with the third-party Health and Safety Consultant).

·       Ensuring the company’s timely renewal of various professional accreditations (CHAS, Safe Contractor, etc.)

·       Ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements for the role:

·       Good experience and understanding of Recruitment

·       Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills

·       Strong quantitative and technical abilities

·       Friendly and outspoken personality and remains calm in demanding situations

·       Ability to work as part of a small team in an environment that demands excellence, reliability, accuracy and working with competing deadlines

·       Experience of working for a SME, preferably internationally based.

·       CIPD qualification (preferable but not mandatory)

This list is neither exclusive nor exhaustive and there may be other duties, within the remit of this position, required of the job holder from time to time.
