Hampton Group has a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking, reliable & motivated individual to join the Finance team as a Management Accountant. About the Role

Responsible for preparing financial statements, audit and various tax returns and current tax legislations. Act as the finance lead and responsible for all the accounts and budget production process as well as the tax filing compliance. Ensuring accurate financial reporting and control.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist CFO to manage in-house accounting function including production of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements across a range of portfolio companies

• Manage the FSC across the Group

• Consolidate the subsidiaries accounts and present the financial results in the Board meetings as required

• Produce reports to external accountants for VAT Returns and Corporation Tax

• Prepare annual budgets to present to the board

• Act as the main point of contact during the Audit process

• Assist in year-end audit with provision of information for audit queries

• Regular communication and liaison with the financial department in China

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Accountant is essential

• Attention to details with a can-do attitude

• Familiar with UK taxation and SME financial operation

• Understanding financial planning and cross-border financial analysis is highly preferred

• Good working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)

• Good analytical and communication skills

• Self-motivated with ability to manage, prioritise and deliver projects

• Good grasp of Chinese and English
