Our client is one of the UK's leading East Asian food retailers. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals in the retail/food industry to join our Collindale store on a permanent basis. Successful candidates will have relevant experience in retail and customer service.
Job Requirements:
• Fluent Chinese speaking and written skills are desirable – Mandarin or Cantonese
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent Customer service skills
• Willing to carry out hands-on tasks
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK (without sponsorship)
• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment
Job Responsibilities:
• Monitor tasks and guide the team to ensure that all procedures are adhered to
• Ensure stock levels on the shop floor is maintained to the company’s standards
• Support all departments of the shop, from checkouts and deliveries to replenishment and fresh product preparation
• Assist the store manager and deputy manager with staff rotas, shift arrangements, absences, and sick leave management
• Assist the store manager to ensure that health and safety and food standards are maintained
• Take on key holder responsibilities – opening and closing the store
