We have an exciting opportunity for an Online Accounts Executive for an E-commerce company based in North Birmingham. Our client is a rapidly rising e-commerce business with five years of continuous strong online sales growth. Following 5 years of continuous strong online sales growth, they now wish to appoint a key person to run their UK online platform. They are looking for a key person who has a deep understanding of eBay / Amazon Marketing Services and Strategic Vendor Services.
Job Requirements:
A commercial mindset with an appreciation of how your work directly affects sales, margins, and income generation
Understand to use Productivity Tools for eBay and Amazon shop. Such as Linnworks/Sage. Experience using HTML, Javascript, JQuery, CSS.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
A strong degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent time management and organization skills
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Be comfortable working as an individual to hit key deadlines
Look out for and recommend efficiencies to improve productivity
Ideally will have experience with online content management systems (CMS)
Have an understanding of current digital trends, industry knowledge
Preferred:
An understanding of website usability and conversion, and how merchandising can drive sales
Basic knowledge of SEO Best Practice
Experience in using Google AdWords and Channel Advisor would be preferred, but not essential.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for adding new products or modify current listings to our marketplace sales channels (Amazon and eBay), ensuring copy and images are factual, compelling to the customer, and keyword optimized
Assigning products to accurate and representative product lister pages within marketplaces, to ensure maximum exposure to the relevant customers in order to drive sales
Monitor daily online accounts (eBay and Amazon) working properly and safely.
Monitor daily product feed accuracy, ensuring all information is correct and applicable products are categorized in order to trade & sell on eBay & Amazon marketplaces
Identify and react to changes in stock quantities in order to maximize sales potential
Identify and feedback any issues with images that may need retouching/reshooting
Provide assistance when necessary with all other online merchandising needs
General troubleshooting to resolve any problems
